Peer Mediation is a process in which two students trained in conflict resolution, called Mediators, lead two of their schoolmates through a process that helps them solve their conflict. The Mediators do not solve the problem, the students in conflict do. The process is totally voluntary, and does not involve punishment. Anyone may make a referral to mediation, including teachers, classmates, and the students in the conflict. Referral forms are available in the Guidance Office and in the Library.
