CONGRATULATIONS TO JACLYN RYAN!
2015 VIRGINIA TEACHER OF THE YEAR

The Character Counts Committee is planning to have a “Winter Spirit Week” starting on December 16th  and ending Monday, the 22nd. In order to demonstrate school spirit and school pride, we encourage all students and teachers to dress up each day according to the list below. Students are asked to get ready at home and please remember...all school rules apply!

Tuesday: (Sparkle Day) – Tis the season to shine on this day! Wear the colors of the season....red, green, silver and gold. Dress as bright as you can. You will be sparkling like a string of holiday lights!

Wednesday: ( Mis-Match Day) – Just as no two snowflakes are alike, you will be mismatched on this day! Be as wacky and tacky as you can!

Thursday: (Wrap up the season) – Today is the day to put your holiday minds to work! Use wrapping paper and bows to make yourself look like a holiday gift! Remember good things come in small packages!

Friday: (Favorite Winter Character Day) – Put yourself into your favorite winter characters shoes today! Make yourself look like that character that has a warm spot in your heart. From penguins, polar bears, Eskimos, gingerbread people, and Frosty, we hope to have an atmosphere similar to the North Pole!

Monday: (Ugly Holiday Tie or Sweater) – Be sure to wear your ugliest holiday tie or sweater on this day to “dress” up the Monday blues!
